In the Louis XV style, with a serpentine hinged top inset with a panel of tooled leather enclosing a velvet and silk lined crossbanded interior, the frieze applied with porcelain plaques painted with parrots and exotic birds on all sides, the legs with pierced foliate Rococo style mounts, on cabriole legs joined by a quarter veneered pierced galleried undertier and terminating in sabots
