Bin-soiled label. Level: into neck
It is hard for us Europeans to realise that an execrable vintage like 1951 (or 1968 for that matter) can be so good in California. The 1951 BV reminded me of a cross between Latour '55 and Cheval Blanc '56 - high praise indeed. I gave it a maximum of 5 stars as a wine, 10 stars for rarity. MB.
