The Empress Eugenie lent an 1852 Alexandre fan, painted by Soldé and Moreau with the Adventures of Cupid to the Loan Exhibition of Fans at the South Kensington Museum [now the Victoria and Albert Museum] in 1870

The wedding fan of the Grand Duchess of Baden painted by Alexantre Soldé was exhibited in the Karlsruhe exhibition 1891
A fan by A. Solde from the 'Maison Alexandre' dated 1858 was sold at Drouot-Paris on 23rd June 1999
