A fan with mica spyholes, the silk leaf painted with three vignettes of elegant couples at the altar of love with four insertions of gold net, two spyholes of gold net and two of mica, decorated with green, red and gold sequins, the ivory sticks, carved, pierced and gilt with lovers and putti and decorated with red and green sequins - 11in. (27cm.), French, circa 1760
