A GEORGE I BLACK AND GILT-JAPANNED DOUBLE-DOMED CABINET-ON-CHEST
The simulated nashiji cavetto cornice with three later giltwood finials above a pair of doors depicting on the left a pair of cockerels in a landscape, and on the right a pavillion with courtiers in a landscape, enclosing a fitted interior of various-sized drawers, each decorated with animals and figures in landscapes, above two short and two long drawers, on later turned feet, the reverse with Oxford depository label stamped 'LADY ROTHERMERE'
79¾ in. (203 cm.) high, excluding finials; 41½ in. (105.5 cm.) wide; 21¾ in. (54 cm.) deep
