A porcelain snuff bottle
19th century
of flattened rounded form, painted in underglaze blue, iron red, pale celadon and gilt with sages in a rocky landscape, stopper -- 2 5/8in. (6.7cms) long, (stopper stuck down); and a cylindrical bottle painted in underglaze blue, white and copper red with mythical characters amongst rockwork and foaming waves -- 3in. (7.5cms) long, Qianlong seal mark.
