A pale celadon jade archaistic vase and cover
Qianlong
of flattened hu shape, each side crisply carved in shallow relief with lotus sprays and scrolling foliage, the neck and cover with taotie masks on geometric grounds beneath a band of stiff leaves, the handles with stylised phoenix, some mottled grey inclusions -- 12in. (30.5cms) high, pierced wood stand.
