A celadon jade model of a boy seated on an elephant
18th/19th Century
the smiling boy holding a bucket and fly-whisk while the elephant stands with its head turned to the right -- 2¾in. (7cm.) high; a celedon jade pendant modelled as an elephant, standing with a saddle cloth on its back, russet inclusions -- 1 7/8in. (4.7cm.) long; and a dark and pale grey jade model of a tree-shrew on a leafy fruiting tendril -- 2in. (5cm.) long.
