A pair of ivory caparisoned elephants
19th Century
striding forwards with their heads turned to oneside, each saddle supporting a baluster vase on a base of scrolling clouds, with loose ring elephant-head handles, carved with meandering lotus flowers, the saddle cloth similarly decorated -- 9 1/8in. (23.1cm.) high. (minor age cracks).
