An ivory and kingfisher feather framed panel
19th century
relief decorated with a scene of ladies and gentlemen at leisure on the terrace of a pavilion and crossing a bridge in a riverside garden of pine, plantain and rockwork, two cranes perched in the tree tops to the upper section, some detail decorated in other feathers, hardwood frame inlaid in mother of pearl with trailing flowers -- 21½in. x 16½in. (54.5cms x 42cms) overall, (slight wear).
