A famille rose globular teapot and cover
Jiaqing
painted and gilt to both sides with shaped calligraphic panels on a lime green ground, reserved with scrolling lotus sprays and foliage, within borders of ruyi heads and lappets -- 6in. (15.2cms) high, iron red Jiaqing seal mark and of the period, inscription dated Jiaqing, Spring 1797, (cracked, restored chip to spout, cover rivetted and with some inner rim sections broken off).
