gilt fusee movement with divided Egyptian pillars, large balance wheel beneath a finely pierced and engraved balance cock secured by two screws, silver champleve dial with Roman numerals and outer Arabic five minutes, signed Lestourgeon, London within a cartouche, plain inner case punch numbered 1793, Britannia silver plain outer case with London marks for 1708, casemaker's initials DE (probably Louis De Rumeaux), diameter 57mm.
