(Some worming throughout, worse towards the end and affecting text, a few light stains and some discolouration). Contemporary South German blindstamped calf over wooden boards, central compartment on sides containing a diaper pattern with a large floral tool within the lozenges, the whole within a border of large decorative tools and, at the corners, a lion rampant in a shield, not in Kyriss. (Rebacked, lacks clasp, some worming in covers). Provenance: Melchior Schwob of Freinstadt (contemporary ownership inscription on title); late 17th-century conventual library (ownership inscription on title with the name of the convent scratched out causing a small hole).
