DIOMEDES. De arte grammatica, [with other tracts]. Venice: Theodorus de Ragazonibus, 12 June 1495. 2° (311 x 213mm.), 84 leaves, 64 lines, roman letter. (Some worming at the beginning, less in the middle and quite severe at the end, with some damage to text, small hole in title affects one letter on the verso, a few margins reinforced, light waterstaining). 16th-century Italian pre-binding boards. (Spine a little rubbed). Provenance: several contemporary marginalia in an attractive hand.

Probably the sixth edition of the late fourth century AD grammarian's only extant book. The third book is the most important as it contains fragments of Suetonius' lost De poetis. This is the issue with the printer's name in the colophon. HC 6219; GW 8404; BMC V, 478; Goff D-238.
