BARTOLUS DE SAXOFERRATO. Super prima codicis, edited by Jason Maynus, Lyon: J. Saccon, 1 September-8 November 1516. 4 parts in one volume. 2° (428 x 285mm.). Title of part one printed in red and black, title of parts one, II & IV within a woodcut border and with a device. (Part II lacks last leaf, part III lacks title, part IV lacks all after e4, a few light stains). Contemporary South German blindstamped pigskin over wooden boards, sides divided into rectangular compartments and decorated with stamps of rosettes, animals, lilies and an arrow through a heart, the whole within a roll border of a larger arrow through heart stamp, spine decrated in compartments with a profusion of the same stamps, metal cornerpieces and clasps. (A few minor signs of wear). Not in Adams or BMC. None of the tools identified in Kyriss.
