Woodcut illustration on title, woodcut initials, text within decorative border throughout, 113 large woodcut illustrations, 2 full-page, woodcut printer's device at end, 2 index leaves after colophon. (Title stained with early marginal repair, p8 lightly waterstained, mainly marginal spotting and browning). Later (?18th-century) boards decorated in black and gilt to a design of fruit and foliage. (Darkened, rubbed, boards loose). Provenance: some very early annotation. cf. Brunet I, 1202; this edition not in Adams.
