A fine late 19th-Century silver-cased pocket anenometer,
unsigned, the two sides opening to reveal the eight-bladed anenometer within, one side with an aperture to see the glazed face with two scales each with a blued-steel needle, with a suspension loop, contained in a green plush-lined leather-covered circular case -- 2 5/8in. (6.6cm.) diameter; and another aluminium-cased anenometer, the DAVIS LYALL AIR SPEED INDICATOR by JOHN DAVIS & SON DERBY Ltd with a shutter to multiply the scale 0-27 feet per second by two, with a leather carrying strap
