signed on the finely engraved 7½in. (19cm.) diameter gilt dial Wellington, London, with shaped hands and engraved for links, yards, poles, miles and furlongs, the glazed cover with turned rim and brass hook and eye, the mechanism contained in a square-section part of the mahogany frame, the 32in. (81.3 cm.) diameter iron-tyred wheel with brass axis points and six spokes -- 53in. (134.8cm.) long
