A large 19th-Century lacquered-brass French cross,
signed H. Morin. 3, rue Boursault (Ateliers H. Morin & Gensse) à Paris, the glazed compass with blued-iron needle with jewelled cap and clamp, the body with silvered scale and knurled turning knob, raised on a brass column and turned walnut base -- 10¼in. (26cm.) high; a lacquered-brass siren, unsigned, with two scales, each with a delicately-shaped blued-iron needle, raised on a short brass column and turned base -- 9¾in. (24.7cm.) high; and a simple lacquered-brass French cross, unsigned, without compass, scale or turning knob, on a turned fruitwood base -- 7 1/8in. (18cm.) high
