A brass and ferrous metal late 19th-Century model of a single cylinder horizontal mill engine
with wood lagged cylinder 1¼in. bore x 4½in. stroke, centrally mounted valve chest, cylinder lubricator, draincocks and pipes, studded stuffing boxes, bar type crosshead guides, counterbalanced crank, eccentric driven feed pump and curved spoked flywheel, finished in green and polished brightwork, wood mount -- 7 x 19¼in. (17.8 x 49cm.)
