The porcelain circa 1700, the decoration circa 1730, impressed seal mark
Of flared octagonal form, decorated in the Kakiemon palette with the 'Hob in the Well' pattern beside bamboo and shrubs, a turquoise bird in flight in the sky above, the lower section moulded with radiating stiff leaves, the interior rim with blue and iron-red and gilt flowers and green foliage below a brown line rim (minor wear to the brown line rim and minor scratches to the iron-red enamels of the figure's coat)
