Of globular form with slender cylindrical neck, the foliage-moulded double-scroll handle and scroll spout enriched with gilding, the tip of the spout formed as a beast's head, the body painted with branches of flowering prunus, peony, pomegranites, tied corn stooks and scattered flowerheads, the pointed domed cover similarly decorated below a pine cone finial and with a gilt line above the broad sloping rim (chip to footrim and inside rim of cover, flaking to gilding of neck)
