A Meissen arched rectangular tea-caddy and cover Circa 1745, blue crossed swords mark and gilder's .y to base and cover
Painted with two battle scenes within elaborate gilt panelled ombrierte quatrefoil cartouches, the sides with soldiers in an encampment beneath a band of gilt scrolling foliage, the shoulders with flower-sprays, gilt line rims, the circular cover with cone finial (minor wear to gilt scroll border)
