A Meissen gilt-metal mounted baluster yellow-ground coffee-pot and cover
Circa 1750, blue crossed swords mark, incised W to footrim
With a white shell-moulded spout edged with gilt foliage and wishbone handle with gilt shell thumb-piece, the yellow-ground body and cover reserved on each side with a quatrefoil brown line and gilt band cartouche with loose bouquets of flowers including a poppies, roses and a tulip, the domed cover applied with a blue flower finial, gilt band rim, the mount with a shell thumb-piece (minute chipping to tip of spout and petals of finial, crack to lower terminal, minute wear to gilt rim of spout and rim of cover)
