A Ludwigsburg group of Venus and Adonis
Circa 1765, blue interlaced C mark and iron-red painter's mark of an arrow and annulet
Modelled by J.C.W. Beyer in each others arms, she scantily draped in a green-lined pink robe with purple flowers with a blue and green scaled dolphin with yellow eyes and iron-red tail and fins among green waterweeds behind them on a rectangular rockwork base applied with moss (slight chipping to waterweeds)
