A pair of Meissen miniature figures gilt-metal-mounted as candlesticks
The porcelain, circa 1750, the mounts probably late 19th century, blue crossed swords marks to reverse of bases
Modelled as a lady gentleman, both with hands in a muff, she wears a mop cap, shirt black cape, purple jacket and flowered skirt, he wears a tricorn hat, purple coat and yellow breeches, both set in arbours on rectangular bases, supporting sconces with leaf cast drip pans (some minor damage and restoration to the gentleman, the lady with a few chips)
