The first engraved with scrollwork, signed 'Rigby & Son' in Gothic letters, and fitted with detent, rainproof pan, pierced cock, and tension adjustment for the mainspring (parts missing); the second each adapted from flintlock, the flat hammers of early type with detachable noses
