A RARE EARLY SPANISH (?) AGUJETA MECHANISM FOR A GUN, AND AN EARLY MIQUELET-LOCK MECHANISM OF KURDISH TYPE
Early 17th Century, and circa 1640
The first with crescent-shaped cock, long downward extension to the top jaw, and separate striking face on the steel (the face and other parts missing, jaw-screw later); the second in excavated condition, with filed ornament (top jaw and screw missing)
