With multi-stage sighted barrel octagonal at the breech with engraved decoration throughout heighted by engraved brass and white-metal panels and retained by four engraved brass bands, the lock engraved with foliage with silvered details (top jaw and screw replaced), three- quarter length stock (minor defects) dated 1300 A.H. (=1885 A.D.) and inlaid with owner's name 'Al-Hajji Aballah al-Qasim ...' and floral scrollwork in silver wire, and small mother-of-pearl plaques, engraved bone butt-plate, and wooden ramrod
