With twist barrels signed in full on the rib, silver fore-sight, patent breeches each with platinum plug, at the centre two gold lines and an engraved blackcock, shaped tang finely engraved with scrollwork, signed engraved stepped locks each decorated with scrollwork and a dog, figured walnut half-stock with chequered pistol grip and fore-end (minor bruising), engraved iron mounts decorated with scrollwork, gold escutcheon, and original horn-tipped ramrod (some wear throughout, iron parts with scattered surface pitting), London proof marks
