A RARE 21-BORE LIÈGE FLINTLOCK WENDER FOWLING-PIECE

With signed four-stage sighted barrels now lightly browned, each struck with a brass-lined mark (Neue Støckel 4372) three times at the breech, engraved tang retained by two screws, signed engraved flat back-action lock with engraved bevelled border, moulded figured walnut full stock (fore-end tips replaced), bronze mounts engraved and chiselled in low relief, pierced side-plate and escutcheon, the latter surmounted by a coronet and charged with a portrait bust, turned faceted brass ramrod-pipes, and later brass-tipped ramrod
