AN ENGLISH BULLET CROSSBOW

With slender steel bow, later strings and bone spacers, built-in gaffle retained by a catch at the rear, signed engraved sprung back-sight, sprung fore-sight, figured walnut gun-stock of fully developed form with chequered grip, iron mounts, engraved trigger-guard with pineapple finial, and serial numbered butt-plate (iron parts with scattered surface pitting)
