AN ENGLISH BULLET CROSSBOW

With slender steel bow retaining old strings (damaged) with bone spacers, foliate engraved built-in gaffle retained by a catch at the rear, signed engraved back-sight, sprung fore-sight, flat-sided walnut gun-stock with engraved iron mounts and inlaid shaped decorative panel in front of the lock, trigger-guard with second pattern acorn finial, and serial numbered butt-plate (iron parts with some wear and surface pitting)
