AN ENGLISH BULLET CROSSBOW

With slender steel bow retaining old strings with bone spacers, built-in gaffle with foliate decoration and retained by a catch at the rear, signed engraved back-sight, sprung fore-sight, flat-sided figured walnut gun-stock (minor bruises) inlaid with a shaped decorative panel with rococo decoration in front of the lock, and iron mounts including lightly engraved serial numbered butt-plate (iron parts with scattered light rust-staining and surface pitting)
