With tapering blade double-edged towards the point and with three long fullers on each side, the central one stamped 'Andrea Ferara', iron guard of rectangular bars involving incised panels pierced with circles and stylised hearts, scrolled wrist-guard, fluted pommel, spirally fluted shagreen-covered grip, and leather liner faced with red baize
