A RARE CARRIER FOR A RAPIER, ANOTHER CARRIER, AND A WAIST-BAND FOR A SMALL-SWORD
The first early 17th Century, the last 18th Century
The first of two broad pieces of leather embroidered on the front with silver thread, with six loops along the bottom edge, each with iron buckle, at the top an iron hook, the iron parts with punched decoration and traces of gilding; the second covered in brown velvet; the third with cream-coloured silk painted with flowers and foliage (buckle missing)
