With late-17th-century belled brass barrel in two stages with moulded girdle and raised moulding at the rear, engraved iron tang, signed and engraved flat bevelled lock with stepped tail, figured walnut full stock (the butt with some old worm-holes), engraved brass mounts including trigger-guard with first pattern acorn finial, and iron-capped ramrod with worm, London proof marks
