A RARE 20-BORE FLINTLOCK TURN-OVER SPORTING GUN

With three-stage sighted barrels signed 'Barbar Londini' on the breech sections and released by a lever in front of the trigger-guard, tang secured by two screws and engraved with a grotesque mask, signed rounded border engraved back-action lock, moulded figured walnut full stock with a raised apron around the barrel tang (chips, cracks, and repairs, some worm-holes), pierced silver foliate side-plate involving a monster-head, lightly engraved iron mounts, and horn-tipped ramrod (iron parts with some pitting and discolouration, trigger-guard a working replacement, escutcheon missing), London proof marks
