The first signed Barker, Newark, circa 1770, the second early 19th Century
The first rebuilt from a single-barrelled pistol, with turn-off cannon barrels, signed foliate engraved action, engraved trigger-guard safety-catch, and flat-sided walnut butt inlaid with scrollwork in silver wire; the second with foliate engraved lock, full stock, iron and brass mounts, and iron ramrod (minor defects), London proof marks
