2° (550 x 350mm). Text in Spanish. 34 hand-coloured engraved maps of the counties of England and Wales (of 58). (Some light spotting and browning, lacking title, several maps with clean tears to margins, one misbound.) Contemporary vellum, panelled in gilt and lettered Inglaterra, gilt edges, (worn, upper cover detached); sold not subject to return.
The selection of maps remaining in this copy of the fifth volume of the Spanish Atlas Mayor includes the general map of England, and the counties of Cornwall, Surrey, Sussex, Kent, Oxfordshire, Middlesex, Cambridgeshire, Yorkshire and Lancashire.
