Tasting note: "A difficult vintage: ""Cold year, much rain"" the owner told me at a major tasting. At a Master of Wine tasting of '94s, I gave Cheval Blanc my highest mark, and last year amongst First Growths my second highest mark. A well developed, sweet and chocolatey nose and flavour. Clearly evidence of right bank's success in 1994 MB (2001).
