A Brunswick blue and white two-handled tureen and cover
Circa 1740, underglaze blue IHB 1 to both
Of lobed rectangular form, the loop handles with flowers and scrolling foliage, the body, domed rectangular foot and domed cover with an overall pattern of stylised flowerheads, foliage and dot ornament, the angles of the foot moulded with scrolls, the cover with lobed finial (finial restored, some flaking and chipping to rims)
