A Sevres circular two-handled ecuelle, a cover and a stand (ecuelle ronde tournee et plateau rond)
1762 and 1769, blue interlaced L's enclosing date letter K to stand and Q to écuelle, the stand with painter's mark S for Méreaud, the écuelle incised CL and X
The blue borders edged with gilt-edged pink C-scrolls suspending waisted rectangular panels gilt with trellis ornament and divided by wreaths of coloured flowers and foliage, the cover with fruiting branch finial, the écuelle painted in a more vibrant palette
The stand 8 in. (20.3 cm.) wide
