A Sevres shaped oval stand, a coffee-cup and saucer and a sugar-bowl and cover (plateau en porte-huilier, gobelet Bouret et soucoupe unie et pot à sucre Bouret)
1756 and 1758, puce interlaced L's enclosing D and F, all with painter's mark of Buteux, various incised marks
Each piece painted in pink camaïeu with putti among clouds and with various trophies and attributes within gilt dentil rims, the stand of deep shaped elongated oval form with an armillary sphere and a telescope among clouds, 10¾ in. (27.3 cm.) long; the coffee-cup and saucer with cupid holding a telescope and with a geometric chart surrounded by birds in flight; the sugar-bowl and cover with cupid holding a harp and with a garland of roses, the cover with bows and arrows and with gilt fruit and foliage finial (repair and rubbing to finial), 3¼ in. (8.2 cm.) diam. (3)
