87 of the production went into the Grand Vin cuvée, of which 30 was aged in new oak barrels. This is a 55 Cabernet Sauvignon, 27 Merlot, 18 Cabernet Franc wine, and one of the best classed growths of this vintage, at mid-price level. Colour is an impressive, opaque purple, nose being opulent, ripe and spicy. Richly built yet notably silky, with ripe tannins and superb potential. AH
