A French gilt-brass and champlevé enamel striking and repeating carriage clock, circa 1890
The anglaise case decorated in shades of blue, with off white enamel Arabic dial, the centre embellished with floral swags, blued steel hands, the twin barrel movement with silvered platform to a lever escapement with bimetallic balance, strike/repeat on gong to the back plate stamped for Richard & Co. -- 6 1/3in. (16cm.) high to hilt of handle
