The case of waisted form and with foliate mounts, with projecting gargoyles to the pediment below a leaf cast finial, the sides with silk-backed pierced and engraved sound frets and with clambering dragon mounts, the front with relief cast mount of two amorini, the foliate cast twenty-five piece white enamel dial with individual Roman and Arabic chapters and signed in the centre E.NE LENOIR LONDON, with blued steel hands, the twin barrel movement with silk suspension verge escapement, cut corner plates, strike on bell and formerly with repeat train, the back plate signed Etienne Le Noir Paris -- 22½in. (57cm.) high; and the wall bracket en suite -- 9in. (23cm.) high
