A George IV mahogany and brass-inlaid bracket timepiece, circa 1830
The case with brass pineapple finial to a fluted and chamfered top, lion mask ring handles to the sides, with brass inlays to the front, on bun feet, the white painted Roman dial with steel moon hands, the single wire fusee movement with anchor escapement and arched plates, with pendulum holdfast to the back plate (lacking screw) -- 15½in. (39cm.) high
