The 10in. square dial with winged cherub mask and foliate spandrels to a silvered Roman chapter ring with sword hilt half hour markers and inner quarter hour divisions, signed J. Windmills London, gilt matted centre, with steeel single hour hand, the horizontal movement plates supported by four columns and resting on ball and knop feet, the two train movement with verge escapement and outside countwheel strike on bell
