PUBLICITY PHOTOGRAPHS IN BINDERS FROM S.I.P.
1939
A group of four binders complied by the Publicity Department at Selznick International Pictures filled with dozens of original print black and white or sepia photographs from the film. Labels on the binder spines read Gone With The Wind (Publicity) and are numbered from #1 to #4 while additional pencilled notations read 67 and 74 (which indicate that some of these same photographs were used for publicity in later re-releases). Many of the included photographs have 1939-era typed publicity text glued to the verso as well as various date stamps from different months in 1939, and many of these images have never before been published -- especially the behind-the-scenes shots showing the actors and camera crews relaxing.
